Legacy Society

The Cleveland Museum of Art is widely considered one of the best encyclopedic art museums in the world. Its world-renowned collection would not have been possible without the foresight and philanthropy of our founders, Hinman B. Hurlbut, John Huntington, Horace Kelley, and Jeptha H. Wade II. Nearly 100 years later their vision of creating a museum “for the benefit of all the people forever” continues and has paved the way for others to leave a similar legacy. To honor this continued generosity of the community, the museum created the Legacy Society—a group of nearly 400 individuals who have chosen to support the museum by making a commitment to the museum in their will or estate plans.

Members of this distinguished group receive acknowledgement (unless they wish to remain anonymous) in the philanthropy issue of Cleveland Art, the museum’s members magazine, a sterling silver pin, a subscription to the Lasting Legacies newsletter, invitations to all estate-planning seminars, and a yearly reception and tour of the museum!

If you have any questions about the Legacy Society, please don’t hesitate to contact Denise Grcevich at 216-707-2594 or dgrcevich@clevelandart.org to learn more.
